GENERAL TERMS

1- General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered separately from the tour program.

2- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved; Turdan Tura can cancel the tour until 21 days prior to the tour date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The entire tour fee will be refunded to the guest. For additional services purchased outside the tour; the domestic flight connections purchased from Turdan Tura will also be refunded to the guest, if visa services were utilized for visa applications on behalf of the guest, these services cannot be refunded as they have been used, if the visa application has not been made, the visa and travel health insurance will also be canceled, and the fee will be refunded. If the guest has purchased the domestic flight connection from a different provider independent of Turdan Tura, in the event of a cancellation of the trip by Turdan Tura, no fee can be claimed from Turdan Tura. The guest accepts in advance all material and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation of the tour, and Turdan Tura cannot be held responsible.

3- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, Turdan Tura has the right not to cancel the tour by showing goodwill. In this case, since the tour will be arranged individually for the guest, the included guiding service will only cover the airport transfers for the outbound and inbound international flights.

Cancellation and Changes

4- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty if they notify Turdan Tura in writing at least 30 days before the tour departure date. In the case of less than 31 days remaining until the start of the trip, a penalty of 50% of the tour fee will be charged, and in case of 15 days or less remaining before the start of the trip, the entire tour fee can be canceled by paying a penalty. The conditions for refunding additional services such as domestic flight connections, visa services, travel health insurance may vary depending on the cancellation request, hence, it is necessary to inquire about the refund conditions in advance. Turdan Tura cannot give any commitment regarding the refund of additional services.

Guiding Services and Extra Tours

5- Extra tours are organized by the local agency we work with, requiring a minimum participation of 10 people. If the sufficient number is not achieved, the tours may not be conducted, or the prices and contents of extra tours may vary. Additionally, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide based on the opening/closing status of museums and historical sites, as well as weather conditions. Different guides may accompany guests during extra tours.

6- The vehicles allocated for extra tours are exclusively for the use of guests who have purchased this extra tour.

7- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are arranged for the general introduction of cities and are conducted with a guide's narration from the vehicle, without including entrance fees for museums or historical sites, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours may not be conducted if local authorities do not permit visiting at the times specified in the program or due to road closures caused by any events or weather conditions, in which case Turdan Tura shall not be held responsible for the cancellation of these tours. Some tours may be conducted using public transportation or on foot, depending on access restrictions.

8- Our guide may change the days of city tours and/or extra tours according to the number of participants and the closure status of the museum or historical site, also valid in case of any changes that might happen to the flight times.

9- Participation in extra tours is at the discretion of the participant and is not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted to wait at a suitable rest area along the way. These passengers will be dropped at a rest area before the extra tour begins and will be picked up from the point they were dropped off after the completion of the tour.

10- Regarding the tours to be made with Speed Boats, precautions to be taken include not eating a heavy meal just before boarding the boat and not drinking excessive amounts of water. Guests with complaints related to the stomach, back, neck or pregnant guests should inform their guide about their conditions.

About Flights

11- Turdan Tura acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in any disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, in addition to the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention, will apply.

12- There may be delays or changes in flight times for scheduled and charter flights. Turdan Tura is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger accepts the risk of flight time changes/cancellations at the time of purchasing the trip.

13- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee.

14- According to airline rules, if the outbound flight ticket purchased round-trip is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline.

15- Check-in and boarding procedures for people participating in tours with flights are personal responsibilities and must be completed by the guests at the airports, at the relevant airline counters or online on the airline's websites before the flight.

16- Last-minute delays and gate changes during flights are announced audibly at the airports and shown on information boards in the area. This information must be monitored by the guests themselves.

17- Turdan Tura is not responsible for passengers who fail to be present at the specified airport at the announced times according to airline rules or do not complete the check-in and boarding procedures in time, or who complete these procedures on time but do not board the flight. All costs related to obtaining new departure-return tickets and transfers necessary for passengers who miss their flights are the responsibility of the passengers.

18- In general, the luggage weight for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the country of destination. If domestic flights are available in the destination country, the luggage weight may be reduced to 15 kg for these domestic flights. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Turdan Tura.

19- For guests who want to upgrade their tickets with miles (to business or first class); upgrade procedures can be performed depending on the availability of the airline (please check with the airline you are a member of) after the tickets are issued. No guarantee of miles for each flight is provided. Please check whether the tickets of the program are in an upgradeable class.

20- In some airlines, meals and online check-in services may incur an extra charge.

Other Matters

21- Turdan Tura will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellations made by the guests directly contacting the hotel. In this case, Turdan Tura's cancellation conditions will be applicable.

22- In tours where hotel(s) are presented without specifying names but with category information and/or presented with options for the same destination, the guests will be informed by Turdan Tura 48 hours prior to the tour departure.

23- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, and sports tournaments, hotels may be located farther from the specified locations or distances. In such cases, Turdan Tura will inform guests 15 days prior to the tour departure.

24- At the time of registration for the purchased tour; it is necessary for the guest to accurately enter/declare the name as in the passport, date of birth, and passport number in the system. Flight tickets are issued based on this information. Any penalty fees resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.

25- To use mobile phones abroad, please check with the company to ensure that your phone is enabled for international use before leaving Turkey.

26- The check-in time for accommodations is 15:00, and the check-out time is 12:00.

27- Requests regarding the room (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) will be communicated to the hotel by Turdan Tura. Care will be taken for the reserved rooms to align with the guest's preferences according to the hotel's availability. The fulfillment of these requests depends on the availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Turdan Tura.

28- Breakfasts offered in hotels may differ from the rich breakfast commonly found in Turkish cuisine. They are generally served as continental breakfast with limited options such as butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee and may be served in a separate hall allocated for groups.

29- In some cases, a twin room may end up having a double bed instead. Most European hotels offer rooms with two separate beds that can be combined if necessary.

30- Child and extra bed policies may vary by hotel and room types.

31- Any requests for extra beds and baby cribs are provided upon request and are subject to the hotel's availability and must be approved by the hotel.

32- The capacity for an extra bed or baby crib in a room is 1 (maximum).

33- In triple rooms, there is an application for an extra bed, and the extra bed allocated for the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds consist of sofa beds that can be open and closed. Guests on reservations for triple rooms and/or those with children acknowledge and accept the potential tightness and bed types due to the additional beds added to the standard room.

34- If the number of children and the ages of children staying with adults are incorrectly declared by our guests in hotel reservations, the applicable hotels may charge additional fees. In such cases, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification for age verification for children.

35- In reservations consisting of 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child rates are applicable only if the child is staying alongside two adults. Child discounts are valid for “one child” who is within the age group that accompanies two adults.

36- Daily currency fluctuations are reflected in the TL prices. The exchange rates at the time of payment are valid. Any additional requests and some extra services (minibar, ironing, etc.) in the hotel may incur extra charges. These expenses are not included in the purchase price and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.

37- Some countries have different practices regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. Any city, tourism, or other taxes applied this way will be collected from the guest by the hotel at the time of check-in or check-out.

38- The road distances provided in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may be extended due to traffic, weather conditions, geographical location of the visited country, road work and conditions, etc.

39- Turdan Tura may change the order of cities in the program and the main airline to be flown if deemed necessary while preserving the content of the program.

40- Personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/ID of participants in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Turdan Tura shall not be responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, the costs incurred during their delivery to the country and/or person will be borne by the item owner.

41- Participants in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and any relevant medications and reports if they have any health issues.

42- For any potential extra expenses, the hotel may require a photo ID/passport issued by official institutions and a credit card or cash deposit upon check-in. The deposit requested at the time of check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and Turdan Tura has no involvement.

Visa and Passport

43- There is no visa requirement for T.C citizens.

44- Guests must have their passports valid for at least 6 months after the end of their journey.

45- In customs crossings/border gates, at least 2 blank pages in your passport are required in order to be stamped with entry-exit seals.

46- The exemption from a visa requirement to enter the countries on this tour does not guarantee entry or exit; the passport police have the authority to refuse entry/exist to the country, Turdan Tura is not responsible for this situation, and the responsibility lies with the passenger.

47- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or have dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using their other country's passport must inquire personally about the visa procedures applied by the country to which they will travel at the relevant consulates, otherwise, Turdan Tura will not be responsible for any resulting consequences.

48- To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country you are visiting due to ripped, worn out, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; passports must be renewed. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the passenger.

49- Underage guests (those under 18) traveling alone or with only one parent should be aware that they may be asked to show a document indicating the consent of both parents when entering or exiting the country. It is advised that underage guests and their parents pay attention to this matter.
