- BUDVA
- After breakfast at the hotel, the day is free. Guests who wish can participate in the MASMAVI MONTENEGRO TOUR (Kotor-Porto Montenegro-Perast-Lady of Rocks Boat Tour) organized by our guide for an action-packed day. First, we will head towards Perast. Perast is a small yet historically and visually impressive town located on the Adriatic Sea in Montenegro. It has a rich maritime history and is home to numerous historical buildings and churches from the Renaissance period. The baroque-style buildings built particularly in the 17th and 18th centuries reflect Perast's historical and cultural wealth. You can take beautiful photos here. Then we will take a boat to the Lady of the Rocks island located just off the coast of Perast. The church located on the island, known as Gospa od Škrpjela in the local language, was built in the 17th century. The Lady of the Rocks island is known as a place where maritime prayers and wishes are fulfilled. According to legend, the island expanded after a group of fishermen began to throw stones collected from the sea onto what was then a smaller rock, forming the island as it is today. Over time, these stones accumulated and increased the size of the island. After our visit, we return to the mainland and drive towards Kotor, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979, accompanied by the unique views of Kotor Bay. We will explore the fortified Old Town of Kotor, which dates back nearly 2000 years. Important sights include St. Tryphon Cathedral, the Sea Gate bearing the emblem of the Venetian Republic, Flour Square, known for its lively atmosphere surrounded by various cafes and restaurants, and the Nikola Đurković Monument. At the end of our tour, we will head to Porto Montenegro. Porto Montenegro, located in Tivat in the Bay of Kotor region of Montenegro, is one of Europe's most luxurious yacht marinas. It can be described as a complex that has luxury residences, hotels, luxury shops, and cafes/restaurants, rather than just an ordinary yacht harbor. After free time here, we will transfer back to Budva and our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
