Meeting point will be in front of Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport international departure terminal at 05:50. After our ticket, baggage, and passport processes, we will fly to Baku at 08:50 with Turkish Airlines flight TK332. Arrival in Baku at 12:45 local time. After passport and baggage procedures, we start our panoramic Baku City Tour with our vehicle. During our city tour, the Flame Towers, National Assembly Square, Turkish Martyrs’ Memorial, and the Azerbaijan Martyrs’ Alley and Monument are some of the highlights. After that, we will enjoy a pleasant journey to the Old City, known as "Icheri Sheher" in Azerbaijani, by Funicular (or by vehicle in case of heavy traffic). After a short walk, we will see the Maiden Tower and the Shirvanshahs' Palace, old Mosque and Baths, Miniature Book Museum, while enjoying pleasant walks in the historical cobbled streets of Icheri Sheher, finishing our tour in the city center at the Fountains Square. This structure, which has a "burning fire" place, is one of the major pilgrimage sites according to Zoroastrian beliefs. After our tour here, we will visit Yanar Dag, known as "Fire Mountain" by the famous traveler Marco Polo. This mountain, which has been burning for centuries due to natural gas rising from underground, is sure to catch your interest. After the tour, we return to Baku and our hotel. Day 3 BAKU After breakfast at our hotel, free time. Guests who wish can participate in the optional Gobustan and Heydar Aliyev Center Tour organized by our guide. Overnight in our hotel in Baku. - Gobustan and Heydar Aliyev Center Tour | 70 USD Adult - 45 USD Child (06-11.99 years) We set off towards Gobustan, located approximately 65 km southwest of Baku, the most archaeologically rich area of Azerbaijan, which is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Near the Caspian Sea, Gobustan is also referred to as an open-air museum. This area provides significant insights into prehistoric societies, hunting, animals, and plant life during the Middle Ages, with its carved rocks and petroglyphs known throughout the world. Afterward, we continue our journey to see the Mud Volcanoes region, which is famous for its natural resources in Azerbaijan and is one of the most interesting places where you will feel like you are among "Moon craters" at the site of over 700 mud volcanoes, especially the largest ones in the world. After our guides' presentations in the area, we observe live volcanic movements. Then we return to Baku for our visit to the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center. Designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadid, this building reflects the rise of the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijani mythology and was built in 3.5 years. The Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, one of Azerbaijan’s most important structures, is seen as a symbol of the Azeri community's forward-thinking approach with its modern, unusual, and futuristic architecture. The center contains permanent and temporary exhibitions, archaeological findings, ethnography section, classical instruments, personal belongings of Heydar Aliyev, and official vehicles. During this visit, you will gain extensive knowledge about Azerbaijan's past to the present. At the transfer time indicated by our guide, we will move to the airport. After our ticket, baggage, and passport processes, we will fly to Istanbul at 21:55 with Turkish Airlines flight TK335. Day 5 BAKU - ISTANBUL We will land at Istanbul Airport at 00:20 local time, and the tour ends. We bid farewell until our next enjoyable trip together. - Our tour program is arranged with a specific participation requirement. If sufficient participation cannot be achieved for the package tour, it may be canceled 30 days prior to the departure. You will be notified of the tour canceled due to insufficient participation. - In cases where only category information is provided without specifying names in the tour program and/or where options are available for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by our agency 48 hours before the tour departure. - This price list and program are valid until a new price list is issued and completely nullifies the previous one. - All prices in our package programs are limited to a minimum of 10 participants, and there may be a price increase for groups exceeding this number. Please inquire about prices. - In the case of normal passports, if the passport issuance date is more than 10 years ago, and for other types of passports, if it is more than 5 years old, the parties are aware that the Agency has no existing liability for faulty services related to travel, as it does not have the status of an operator and is not directly responsible like the primary offender. It is required that all passengers be present at the relevant port 3 hours before the tour departure time on the day of all customs-outbound international flights. Guests arriving at the ports or airports from other cities by domestic flights must adjust their flight schedules according to the time they need to be at the port. Passengers are advised to check in and select their seats personally on the airline's website 24 hours before the tour departure. - Turdan Tura acts as an intermediary between our passengers and the airline and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. Flight times may change before departure, and all flight times must be confirmed by the passenger 48 hours before the tour departure. Our passengers purchase the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. - Triple rooms are allocated based on hotel availability, and the bed assigned to the 3rd person in these rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding and coach beds, the tour participants acknowledge that they accept any congestion and bed type that may occur in reservations for the 3rd person and/or children. Child discounts apply only for single children under the applicable age group staying in the same room with 2 adults. Due to the limited number of TWIN (2 separate beds) rooms available in hotels, please check your TWIN room request before making a reservation. - In cases where minors under 18 years of age are not accompanied by at least one of their parents, it is mandatory to carry all necessary consent forms throughout the travel duration. - The panoramic city tour lasts 2-3 hours and does not include entrance fees to museums and historical sites designed for the promotion of the cities and may be conducted on different days, provided that the content does not change. Extra tours will be carried out with the number of participants determined by the tour leader. If the number of participants falls below this, extra tours may be conducted with a price increase, and the days may be changed according to the flow of the program by the tour leader. Tours may not take place due to weather conditions. Visits to attractions or tours that are not permitted by local authorities for any reason will not be conducted. Turdan Tura cannot be held responsible for the inability to carry out these visits or tours. - Individuals must have relevant reports regarding their health issues, pregnancy status, and the medications they are continuously using, and they must carry these documents with them. - Tour details, airport responsibilities, tour leader, and hotel information will be provided 48 hours prior to departure. - A passport is an official document, and the passport police have the authority to deny entry into the country if it is damaged, soiled, or torn in any way. In such cases, the responsibility lies with the passenger. - There is no visa requirement for Turkish citizens for this tour program. The internal approval process for the Travel by Identity Card Protocol between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan was completed on December 10, 2020; it came into effect on April 1, 2021. Therefore, citizens of both countries can travel directly between Turkey and Azerbaijan without needing a passport, solely by presenting a new type of identity card. - When exiting from Turkish border gates, it is required that all passport types have a minimum validity of 6 months as of the travel date, even if Turkish or foreign citizens have a passport with a valid visa. Passports that do not meet this requirement will not be approved by our agency. Turdan Tura has no liability for passengers who cannot participate in the tour due to having less than 6 months of validity on their passports. - Guests who do not participate in the tours stated as included in the program will not receive a refund.
