Upon arrival at Tangier airport, we will transfer to Chefchaouen with our private bus. After having breakfast on the way, we continue our journey to Chefchaouen, the Blue City, whose fame has already crossed the borders of Morocco. After a walk through the maze-like blue streets, we will have free time for shopping for those who wish. Afterwards, we head to Fes. In Fes, after a walk by the monumental gate of the royal palace Bab-el Makhzen and the surrounding Jewish quarter Mellah, we will visit places during our Medina tour, including the Attarine Medressah, Karaouine University, Nejarine Square, the market where jewelry and copper items specific to Morocco are sold, and the tannery, which still operates traditionally near the Fes River. We also make sure to take a break for traditional mint tea at a Riyad. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Fes and have free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 3rd Day FES – RABAT – MARRAKECH After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for the capital city Rabat. Rabat is located on the banks of the Bou Regreg River, surrounded by eucalyptus and Portuguese cork oak forests. Since the exiled king announced his return from this city, it has served as the capital of the country. Our visits in Rabat include Kasbah Oudaya, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, after which we transfer to Marrakech. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour, including the Koutoubia minaret and the lively Djemaa el Fna square, which brings together all the colors of Africa with street performances, snake charmers, and open-air restaurants. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 4th Day MARRAKECH – MAJORELLE GARDENS – MARRAKECH After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our day with a tour of the Atlas Mountains, which surround Marrakech and include many Berber villages as well as the famous Ourika Valley. In Ourika Valley, we will take numerous photos and refresh ourselves with mint tea at one of the traditional Berber houses that greet us along the way. We will visit a workshop where we can see handwoven carpets and rugs that bear traces of Berber culture, and we will tour the Majorelle Garden, one of the most beautiful places in Marrakech, established by the French furniture designer and painter Jacques Majorelle and later transformed into its current form by the famous fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. After the garden visit, we will receive information about argan oil and exotic spices and visit the Bahia Palace, decorated with the country’s unique ceramic tile work (zelij). After this tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Marrakech. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 5th Day MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA – CASABLANCA After breakfast at the hotel, we move for our Essaouira tour. Firstly, we will visit the Argan Oil Cooperative in this region, which has the highest concentration of argan trees, and learn about argan oil. Then we arrive at Essaouira, a city on the Atlantic Ocean coast that reminds us of the old Bodrum, and is the famous former Portuguese city. Declared a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO, the city features a fisherman’s port, and is a seaside town where art and culture intertwine, as well as being the backdrop for many productions like Orson Welles's Othello and the highly watched series Game of Thrones. The city’s ramparts, fishing port, and Medina constructed by adapting elements from ancient Roman cities are among the sights. You can explore and enjoy shopping in the narrow labyrinth streets that you won’t get enough of. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Casablanca and have free time to relax. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 6th Day CASABLANCA – ISTANBUL After breakfast at the hotel and checking out of the rooms, we set off for our panoramic city tour of Casablanca. Casablanca owes its fame to the Hollywood film that took place during the world war and hosted many espionage activities. Nowadays, it is an industrial city that has one of the largest ports in Africa and the country, featuring places like Mohammed V Square, Rick’s Cafe inspired by the filming location of Casablanca, Hassan II Mosque, Anfa and Zerktouni boulevards, which are some of the liveliest streets of the modern city, and the vibrant Corniche waterfront.
