After reaching Osaka, we start our city tour of Osaka, known as Japan's gourmet food capital and the 3rd largest city in Japan. The name Osaka literally means Great Hill or Great Mound. Our city tour begins with Osaka Castle, one of the finest examples of Japanese architecture built in the 16th century. The castle was commissioned by "Toyotomi Hideyoshi," who ruled Japan in the 16th century, and it is known that around 100,000 workers were involved in its construction. After Osaka Castle, we visit Dotonbori, Osaka's popular food district. We experience the lively atmosphere of Dotonbori with its iconic neon signs, street foods, and shopping venues. After free time in the city, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 3
  • Osaka – Kyoto – Osaka
  • After breakfast at our hotel, we begin a full-day tour of Kyoto. First, we visit the Kinkakuji Temple, a Zen temple completely covered in gold leaf and representing the pinnacle of its kind with its pond garden design, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Next, we explore Fushimi Inari Shrine, where scenes from the movie "Memoirs of a Geisha" were filmed. The shrine is dedicated to Inari, the deity of rice, and features more than a thousand Torii gates. On the path adorned with Torii gates and fox statues, believed to be the messengers of the god Inari, you will witness the ancient roots of Japan. Then we visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple, where it is believed that the water flowing from the Otowa Falls is sacred. Built in 780, Kiyomizu-dera takes its name from the pure waters of Otowa Falls. The wooden stage, built without using nails and standing 13 meters high from the slope, offers the most beautiful view of Kyoto. After exploring the historical region of Kyoto and the famous Geisha district Gion, we return to our hotel in Osaka. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 4
  • Osaka – Nara – Kobe – Osaka
  • After breakfast, we continue our tour with the ancient city of Nara. Nara is known for having Japan's largest and oldest temples and was the historical capital of Japan. First, we visit the Todai-ji Temple, which is the largest wooden structure in the world and houses one of Japan's tallest bronze Buddha statues (Daibutsu). Afterward, we visit the sacred deer at Nara Park, which are known as messengers of the gods and are not afraid of people; you will have a delightful time feeding them with the crackers sold nearby. Following this, we start our visit to Kobe, one of Japan’s top ten cities famous for its exquisite sake. Our first stop is the shopping and entertainment center known as Kobe Mosaic. Here, after shopping and experiencing local flavors, we visit the Kobe Earthquake Memorial Museum. The museum features realistic images of the destruction caused by the earthquake along with a documentary telling the story of the recovery process and various interactive games about earthquake prevention. At the end of our tour, we return to Osaka. Overnight at the hotel.

Next, we head to Tokyo Tower, standing at 333 m, as we continue our tour. The model is inspired by the Eiffel Tower, being 3 m taller than it and serves as a symbol of Japan's rebirth after the war. We continue with Ginza, the luxurious shopping center and perhaps the most famous street in the world, originally Japan's silver mint until 1800; the name Ginza derives from the kanji combinations for "silver" (gin) and "location" (za). At the end of our tour, we will walk with thousands of people at the world-famous pedestrian crossing and the Hachiko statue in Shibuya. Accommodation in our hotel in Tokyo.
