(The sunrise will not be visible during periods when it’s late.) After spending some free time at Salt Lake, we take a breakfast break before starting our tour. We arrive at our first stop, Ihlara Valley, with the view of Hasan Mountain, which is one of the most important components of the Cappadocia formations. (Due to the construction of the Glass Terrace and Facility at the main entrance of Ihlara Valley, entries are temporarily closed. Until the work is completed, we will enter Ihlara Valley through the Belisırma Entrance and walk through the valley, visiting Kırkdamaltı Church.) We descend 380 steps into this naturally formed valley, which is 14 km long and one of the essential retreats of Christianity. We walk through Ihlara Valley, which is carved by the Melendiz stream and has a depth of over 120 meters in places, a natural wonder. During our walk, we receive information about the valley, the settlements it contains, and the churches. Depending on the crowd, we will see examples of the Ağaçaltı, Sümbüllü, or Yılanlı Churches and gather information from our guide. We will have free time at beautiful photo spots to immortalize our memories and replenish our peace in the valley air. After we meet at the gathering time, we recharge our energy while climbing the steps and move towards our next sightseeing spot, Narlıgöl Crater Lake. Offering breathtaking beauty in every season, we take a short photo break at Narlıgöl, which has a heart shape when viewed from above. After our photo break, we head towards Kaymaklı Underground City. (In case of high demand, Derinkuyu Underground City will be visited. With a historical usage of approximately 4,500 years, we will perform our visit to this underground city, which impresses with both its architectural features and its purposes, accompanied by our guide.
