  • Day 2
  • Terme – Giresun – Giresun Castle - Trabzon – Atatürk Mansion – Maçka - Altındere National Park - Sumela Monastery – Hamsiköy Rice Pudding – Sürmene Knife Workshop – Rize
  • After our night journey, we start our day with a breakfast break in Terme. After breakfast, we arrive in Giresun via Ünye, Fatsa Ordu direction, seeing Giresun Castle panoramically on our way. In the capital of hazelnuts, Giresun, we reach Trabzon.

  • Our first visit in Trabzon will be Atatürk Mansion. This mansion, which was visited twice by the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in 1924 and 1930, and where he stayed in 1937, will impress you with its architecture and garden. We will explore Atatürk Mansion with information from our guide. Then we move to our restaurant where we can enjoy the famous Akçaabat Meatballs for lunch.

 

  • After our lunch, we head to Sumela Monastery.

 

  • We arrive at Sumela Monastery, located in Altındere Valley, which was formed by the Coşan Stream. (Extra shuttles will be used to reach the monastery within the national park.) Located about 300 meters high from the valley, Sumela Monastery is one of the oldest churches in Christian history. We explore the historically significant Sumela Monastery with guidance from our staff. After completing our visits here, we meet up with our bus and proceed to the facility where we will taste the famous Hamsiköy rice pudding. After enjoying our rice puddings, we move towards the knife workshop to learn about and purchase handmade Sürmene knives, which holds an important place in local culture. After our purchases, we head to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  • On the 3rd day of the Black Sea Tour, after having breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Ayder Plateau. We take photos in front of Gelintülü Waterfall which flows down hundreds of meters like a white veil. Afterward, we have free time in Ayder Plateau. During this free time, you can take unforgettable photos with the magnificent scenery or enjoy your morning coffee. After our free time ends, some guests who wish will participate in the Huser Plateau tour.

  • Huser Plateau Tour (Extra): (In case the Huser Plateau Tour cannot be conducted due to weather conditions, an alternative tour to Kavron Plateau will be conducted.) With our minibuses from Çamlıhemşin, we will embark on a fun tour with breathtaking views. If the weather is cloudy, you will be enchanted by the magnificent sea of fog. If the weather is clear, you can enjoy views of Avusor, Kavron, Verçenik and Samistal Plateaus, the peaks of the Kaçkar Mountains, and the Black Sea. The Huser Plateau Tour lasts about 2.5 - 3.5 hours.

  • After our Huser Plateau tour, we have free time in the charming district of Çamlıhemşin, where Fırtına Valley begins, and some guests who wish will participate in the extra Zilkale and Çat Valley tour.

 

  • Zilkale, Çat Valley Tour (Extra): We will embark on a fun tour with minibuses from Çamlıhemşin. Entering one of the two valleys that form Fırtına Valley, we pass through Ortan Village and arrive at the old village of Şenüz, formerly known as Çinçiva, where many productions, including the Sevdaluk TV series, were filmed. We will take a short photo break on Şenyuva Bridge. After that, we will move towards Zilkale, which rises amidst the Fırtına mansions and is one of the oldest mansions in our country. When we arrive at the castle, 750 meters above sea level, our guide will give us information and then we will have free time. During this free time, you can explore the castle and take stunning photos against the enchanting green scenery. After our free time at Zilkale, we return to Çamlıhemşin.

 

  • After the Zilkale tour, we board our bus in Çamlıhemşin and reach the facility in Fırtına Valley. During our free time here, you can taste local delicacies like muhlama, laz böreği, and trout; you can also participate in adrenaline-filled activities.

 

  • Rafting on Fırtına River (Extra): For guests who love adrenaline, rafting is a delightful activity that becomes even more enjoyable with the Fırtına River. During this fun 1.5-hour activity, you can experience entertaining moments and immortalize the fun with the photos taken.

 

  • Zipline on Fırtına River (Extra): You can participate in an enjoyable activity by crossing from one side of the Fırtına River to the other and back using steel cables.

 

  • Giant Swing (Extra): This is an adrenaline-filled swing experience, where you will be pulled and pushed about 5 meters above and released over the Fırtına River.

  • After our activities in Fırtına Valley, we head to our hotel in Hopa. After dinner at the hotel, we get on our bus for the famous Batum Tour with its night illuminations, crossing to Sarp Border Gate.

 

  • After completing our entry procedures at Sarp Border Gate and crossing into Georgia, we board our waiting bus and begin our tour. First, we will see Gonio (Apsaros) Castle, which dates back to Roman times and was used until the Ottoman period, where the grave of St. Matthias, one of Jesus Christ's 12 Apostles, is also located. While continuing toward Batum city center, we will see the Çoruh River, which originates from Erzurum and reaches Batum borders, and the old Çoruh Bridge. During our journey along Batum Boulevard, we will panoramically see buildings constructed in Soviet Architectural style and the newly built Batum, reaching the city center.

 

  • We will disembark from our bus in the city center and begin our walking tour. First, we will see the Orta Mosque, built in 1886, the only remaining structure from the Ottoman period, which features magnificent door decorations made by Laz masters. Next, we will see the architecturally distinctive St. Nicholas Church and arrive at Piazza Square, which reminds of European city squares and appears like a small Italian town with its interesting architectural structures. Here we will take a photo break before walking to the European Square. During our walk, we will see the Astronomical Clock Tower and the Armenian Apostolic Church, which are similar to those found in Prague and Venice, entering the European Square. In the European Square, we will see the Medea Statue, reflecting the mythical face of the Caucasus, and after learning about it from our guide, we will see the Theater Building. Afterward, we will visit the Poseidon Statue, one of the Greek Gods, and the clock tower known as the Çaca Tower, which is a copy of Izmir’s clock tower.

 

  • Next, we will reach Batum Port and see the Ali and Nino Statue, which became a subject of many movies, learning its story from our guide. Then we will see the Alphabet Tower, which symbolizes the freedom of the Georgian alphabet and people, which is 130 meters high, and we will have free time at Batum Boulevard. After our free time, we will bid farewell to Batum and head towards the Sarp Border Gate. While entering Turkey, you will have the opportunity to shop at Duty-Free for the time determined by our guide. After completing our exit procedures, we will board our bus and head to our hotel.

 

  • *Due to the agreement between the Turkish and Georgian states, Turkish citizens can cross into Batum with their ID card that contains their TC identity number.
  • *Crossing cannot be done with ID cards other than ID cards (driving licenses, institutional IDs, etc.).
  • *Guests under 18 traveling without their family (both parents) must obtain a notarized consent letter for entry into Batum.

  • Rize Fabric Weaving Workshop – Haremtepe Çeçeva Tea Gardens – Tea Factory – Of – Çaykara – Uzungöl – Lustra and Karester Plateaus
  • On the 4th day of the Black Sea Tour, after we have breakfast at the hotel, we board our bus to arrive in Çayeli. We will visit the Rize Fabric Weaving Workshop, known for its famous fabrics, where we will receive information about threads and weaving, and have some free time for shopping. After our shopping break for Rize Fabric, guests who wish can join the Haremtepe Çeçeva Tea Gardens tour with our waiting minibuses.

 

  • Haremtepe Çeçeva Tea Gardens Tour (Extra): In Çeçeva Village, wearing traditional clothes, you can take delightful photos with tea scissors and tea baskets among the endless tea fields.

 

  • After the Çeçeva Tour, we will visit the Tea Factory, where we can taste the most delicious teas from the Black Sea, known for its tea. Here, we will learn about the stages of tea production and take a factory tour, before having free time for tasting drinks and shopping.

 

  • Then we move towards Uzungöl. Following the route Of-Çaykara-Taşkıran, we proceed along the Solaklı Stream and Valley to reach Uzungöl, which was formed by debris from a landslide blocking the valley. Here we will have a short tour with our guide. After receiving information from our guide, we will have free time in Uzungöl. During this free time, participants can join the Karester Plateau tour for a breathtaking view of Uzungöl.
  • (Depending on weather conditions and regional density, firstly Karester Plateau Tour will take place; if impeded by weather, a tour to Haldizen Stream – Demirkapı Plateau will be conducted. One of the two tours will be conducted as a group.)

 

  • Karester Plateau Tour (Extra): After taking our first break at the Uzungöl view, we board our waiting minibuses to reach Karester Plateau, which is 2300 meters high, with a short walk. In Karester Plateau, where we will have the view of Uzungöl from the top, we will take free time with delightful photo opportunities, and you can enjoy çay, buttermilk, and milk or enjoy the famous rice pudding of Trabzon. After our free time, we return to Uzungöl by minibuses. (The free time in Uzungöl for guests participating in the Karester tour will be determined by our guide according to the progress of the tour.)

  • After our enjoyable plateau tour, we leave Uzungöl and head towards our hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

  • Trabzon - Ayasofya - Telkari and Kazaziye Workshop – Local Delicacies – Ordu – Boztepe – Istanbul
  • On the last day of the Black Sea Tour, after breakfast at the hotel, we board the bus to move to the Trabzon Ayasofya, which is one of the important worship centers in the Black Sea.
  • Trabzon Ayasofya was built between 1250-1260 by King I. Manuel, who founded the Trabzon Empire in 1204, and was converted into a mosque in 1584 by order of Sultan Murad III. After the guide's explanations here, we proceed to our workshop, where we will acquaint ourselves with the art of telkâri and kazaziye, which has continued since the Ottoman period. Afterward, we will visit the Local Products Store to shop for local products like butter, cheese, and honey. After tasting and shopping times at the store, we bid farewell to Trabzon and head towards Ordu.
  • When we arrive in Ordu, we offer free time along the Ordu coast. During this time, guests can use the Teleferic line to reach Boztepe, enjoying a magnificent view of Ordu. The Ordu Boztepe cable car takes you to a height of 530 meters in just 7 minutes from the city center. Once at the top, you will enjoy breathtaking views of both the Black Sea and Ordu. After our time in Boztepe, we return to the cable car and meet up with our bus. Our Black Sea tour ends as we begin our return journey. We say our goodbyes by dropping off our esteemed guests at the points we picked them up in the morning, hoping to meet again at another tour organization.

• The tour duration is 4 Nights 5 Days, including the day of departure and return, and includes 3 nights of hotel accommodation. One night is spent traveling. • In our tour, guidance, transportation, accommodation, and local sightseeing are packaged together and cannot be considered separately. Unused rights such as transportation, accommodation, guidance, local sightseeing, etc., cannot be refunded. • Child discounts applied in tour packages are valid for only one child accompanying two adults. Children aged 0-6 may not be provided with a separate bed during hotel accommodation. • In hotel accommodations, the third guest in triple rooms usually stays in an extra bed. • The hotels specified in the program are preferred accommodation facilities for each tour. Guests who do not participate in the extra tours accept to wait at the rest stop as part of the tour. • If any extra tour does not take place for any reason, the guest has no right to claim. The tour is not responsible in this case. • Extra tour prices may vary according to periods. In such cases, the date on which the guest purchased the tour is not considered, but the date of the tour is taken into account. The price of the extra tour during the tour period will be valid. The guest accepts this when purchasing the tour. • The tour is not responsible for any financial damages arising from the services provided by transportation vehicles, hotels, food and beverage areas, and suppliers due to the guest. • In cases where individuals under the age of 18 are not accompanied by one or both parents, a notarized consent form is required to be carried with them during the trip. • Guests participating in the tour must carry reports related to health issues, pregnancy, and medications they are on regularly. • Delays may occur due to traffic, accidents, etc. at the designated times for departure points. • Information about arrival times at the end of the tour is estimated, and the tour is not responsible for delays arising from compelling reasons. • At the end of the tour, guests will be dropped off at the opposite direction of the stops we picked them up from. The definite start and end of the tour can be learned by our guests by contacting us two days prior to the tour. • In case the agency does not reach the required number for the tour, the guest will be informed and can choose to postpone the tour to the next date or cancel it. Alternatively, a ticket can be purchased for the nearest departure point to allow the guest to participate in the tour. In such cases, the agency is obliged to inform the guest three (3) days in advance via phone, SMS, or email. In such cases, the guest has no right to claim. • If the guest cancels the service without a stated reason up to 30 days before the service's start date, the amount paid will be refunded. Cancellations or changes made between 29 to 15 days before the tour date incur a 30% deduction from the reservation amount; 15-7 days incur a 50% deduction; and cancellations made 7 days or less before incur a 100% deduction from the reservation amount. • Guests who purchase the Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package can cancel their purchased package tour without stating a reason up to 72 hours before the start date of the tour. After cancellation, the full amount paid for the package tour will be refunded without any deductions, according to the method of payment. The Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package does not cover flight tickets. • Museum cards and entrance fees to museums are not included in the tour fee. All museum entrance fees are to be paid by the guests. **INFORMATION ABOUT BATUM** According to the agreement made between Turkey and Georgia, Turkish citizens can cross into Batum with a national identity card containing the TC ID number. Other identity cards (such as driving licenses, institutional ID cards, etc.) cannot be used for crossing. Guests under 18 years of age who will not be traveling with both parents must obtain a notarized consent form for crossing into Batum. It is mandatory for all identification documents, including those of infants and children, to contain a photo. The national identity cards must not be worn out and should not be older than 10 years. Officially, as of September 1, 2020, crossing into Batum with old national identity cards is not permitted. It is mandatory for guests to carry their TC numbered national identity card. The exit fee of 710₺ to the abroad will be paid by the guest. The tour is not responsible for any issues arising from deformities in identification documents at the Georgian border crossing. Foreign guests who have entered Turkey with a passport must have a multiple entry visa to be able to go to Georgia and return to Turkey. Moreover, entry into Georgia will be regulated according to the visa protocol between Georgia and the countries to which the passports or IDs belong. Citizens of the TRNC can enter Turkey using their T.C. identity cards, allowing them to also enter Georgia with their T.C. identity cards. TRNC citizens entering Turkey with a European Union passport must also obtain a multiple entry visa to return to Turkey. **CANCELLATION, REFUND, AND ASSURANCE PACKAGE** The Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package allows guests to cancel and make changes to their purchased package tour without stating a reason up to 72 hours before the tour start date. After cancellation, the entire amount paid for the package tour will be refunded without deductions based on the method of payment. The Cancellation, Refund, and Assurance Package does not cover flight transport for packaged tours.
