We begin our tour by walking through the historic streets of Old Mardin. Our amazing tour where we will experience different periods of history with every step starts with the magnificent Latifiye Mosque, the last Artuqid artifact in Mardin, and its impressive crown gate. Then, we take a photo break at the Republic Square. As we pass through the small tunnels (Abbara) connecting the culture streets and narrow streets, we will transition to a different time period. By walking through narrow streets, we arrive at Zinciriye Medrese (Sultan İsa Medrese), one of the best places to view Mardin and the Mesopotamia scenery.

We visit Ulu Mosque, which is attractive with its sliced dome and particularly its minaret, accompanied by our guide, and we see the copper bazaar. After that, we see the Historical PTT Building, known as Şahtana Mansion, built by the Şahtana Family in 1890 by Armenian Architect Lole. Then, we take a coffee break with an incredible view of the Şehidiye Mosque, built in the 13th century. After resting with the Mesopotamia view, we have our lunch. Next, we visit the Mardin Living Museum, which showcases the artistic richness and heritage of Mardin, where we can witness arts like lead pouring, telkari, and copper processing live.
- We visit the Sakıp Sabancı City Museum, which presents the history of the city shaped by its religious and cultural differences to the visitors with re-enactments and photographs. Our museum visit, which has a rich display including gravestones of different faiths, weaving, soap making, stone carving, goldsmithing, handicrafts, and items used in villages, concludes, and we meet our vehicle. After receiving information about Yazidi culture from our guide, the village's texture, scent, cemetery area, and structure of the houses will take you to that moment when time stopped. After some free time, we move to the Syriac village of Haberli (Basibirin) Village. The 23 churches in the village will give you an idea of the vibrancy and density of the village in ancient times. We visit Mor Eşayho Church, one of the open churches, with our guide. This fully Syriac-populated village has produced 3 Patriarchs, 3 patriarch assistants, and 31 metropolitans.
