We meet at Istanbul New Airport's international departure terminal three hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, our flight to Tunisia with Nouvel Air scheduled flight begins. Upon arrival at Tunis airport, we transfer to our private bus and carry out our city tour. During the city tour, we will visit places including Bourguiba Boulevard, where you will feel like you are in France, the Saint Vincent de Paul Cathedral built in the 19th century, the statue of Ibn Khaldun, one of the famous Arab scholars of the Middle Ages, and the clock tower, which is considered a symbol of Tunisia. Afterwards, we move on to the tour of Nabeul. In the capital of ceramic and pottery art, while wandering through the mystical streets of Nabeul, we will see many objects unique to Tunisia, such as copper, leather, embroidery, and cradles. Later, we head to Hammamet, known as Tunisia's Saint-Tropez, built by the sea with magnificent views from the rooftop terraces. In Hammamet, we will see its long, clean beaches and blue sea, as well as its beautiful parks, luxurious gardens, castle walls, streets, and the large mosque that has managed to preserve the city's deep history. After the tour, we transfer to the hotel and have free time to relax. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
2nd Day
HAMMAMET
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our tour of Kairouan & El Jem & Monastir. Our first stop is Kairouan. We will visit the Great Mosque of Okba Ibn Nafa, which is considered the ancestor of all mosques in the Maghreb and one of the most important Islamic monuments. This universally acclaimed architectural masterpiece is also classified as a world heritage site by UNESCO. We will also visit the Aghlabid Basin and finally the tomb of Sidi Sahbi. Afterwards, we head to El Jem. The amphitheater here is one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in the world. This monumental amphitheater, built in the mid-3rd century AD (230-240 AD), is the largest Roman monument remaining in Africa and ranks third in the Empire after those in Rome and Verona. The architectural design of this structure, one of the last large amphitheaters built during the Roman period, is an improved version of Rome's Colosseum. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel and have free time. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
3rd Day
HAMMAMET
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our tour of Tunis & Carthage & Bardo Museum & Sidi Bou Said. We begin by exploring the ancient city of Carthage. Founded by the Phoenicians and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this ancient city lets us trace the steps of the famous Carthaginian commander Hannibal while discovering 3,000 years of Roman, Byzantine, and Crusader ruins. Carthage hosts a variety of ancient structures and remains, reflecting its rich history with its thermal baths, temples, and walls. The tour continues with a visit to the Bardo Museum, which houses a wide collection of works where Roman mosaics are particularly prominent. Each mosaic, with its intricate designs and vibrant colors, tells a unique story from Tunisia's different past. Afterwards, we head to the historical Medina neighborhood of Tunis. We explore the narrow streets filled with souvenir shops in the Old Tunis, also known as the Medina of Tunis. We will visit Souk El Attarine, a famous market located in the historic center of the capital, Tunis. "Souk" means "market" or "bazaar" in Arabic, and "El Attarine" refers to "perfume makers" or "spice merchants." Here, you can shop as you wish. We will also see Place de la Kasbah (Historical Tunis Square), and Zaytuna Mosque. Afterwards, we visit Sidi Bou Said, surrounded by the blue waters of the Mediterranean, known for its blue and white houses, narrow streets, and breathtaking views. You will stroll through the enchanting streets of Sidi Bou Said, also known as Tunisia's Santorini, and capture stunning photographs. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel and have free time. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
