General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently from the tour program.
If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip; Turdan Tura can cancel the tour up to 21 days before the travel date. In such a case, the cancellation information is communicated to the guest. The full amount of the tour fee is refunded to the guest. In case of additional services purchased outside the tour; the domestic flight connections purchased from Turdan Tura are also refunded to the guest, visa services, travel health insurance applied for the guest will not be refunded if these services have been used, if no visa application has been made, the visa and travel health insurance will be canceled and the fee will be refunded. If the guest has purchased the domestic flight connection from an independent provider different from Turdan Tura, in the event that the trip is canceled by Turdan Tura, no other fee refund can be requested from Turdan Tura. The guest accepts in advance any material and moral losses that may arise from the cancellation of the tour when purchasing the tour, and Turdan Tura cannot be held responsible.
In the event that sufficient participation is not provided for the trip, Turdan Tura has the right of good faith to not cancel the tour. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the package includes guidance services only for the international round-trip airport transfer.
Cancellation and Changes
Guests have the right to cancel without penalty by notifying Turdan Tura in writing up to 30 days before the tour departure date, except for airline tickets that have been paid and/or committed by Turdan Tura. If there are less than 31 days until the trip start date, in case of cancellation, the guest will need to pay a penalty of P% of the remaining tour fee from the cost of the plane ticket, and in case of cancellation less than 15 days prior to the trip start date, they can cancel the tour by paying the entire penalty for the tour fee. In the event of a cancellation request, since the refund conditions for additional services such as domestic flight connections, visa services, travel health insurance may vary depending on the time of the cancellation request, it is necessary to inquire in advance about the refund. Turdan Tura cannot make any commitment regarding the refund of additional services.
Guidance Services and Extra Tours
The days and times of the tours specified in the program can be changed by the guide depending on the status of the museums and historical sites being open/closed in the destinations and the weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.
Panoramic city tours included in the tour packages are organized for the general introduction of cities and are conducted as panoramic tours from inside the vehicle, without including entrances to museums or historical sites, for a maximum of 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, are not the responsibility of Turdan Tura if they cannot be conducted due to local authorities not allowing visits on the days and times of the tours, or in cases of closed roads due to any event, and also in situations where the tour cannot be conducted due to weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted using public transport or on foot where there are closed roads or locations where vehicle entry is not permitted.
Our guide may make changes to the order of city tours and/or additional tours based on the number of participants, the status of museums and historical sites being closed, or any changes in flight times. This situation is also valid for changes in flight times that may arise.
Important points regarding tours conducted by Speed Boats; no heavy meals should be eaten right before boarding, and excessive amounts of water should not be consumed. Guests with stomach, back, or neck issues and pregnant guests are required to inform their guides of their conditions.
There is no refund for participation in services specified in the price that are not utilized.
Regarding Flights
Turdan Tura acts as an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger, and in case of any disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention will be applied.
There may be delays or changes in flight times for scheduled and charter flights. Turdan Tura is obliged to inform about these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has accepted the risk of changes/cancellations in flight times when purchasing the trip.
Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee.
According to airline regulations, if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets purchased is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline.
Check-in and boarding procedures for participants in air tours are personal responsibilities and must be completed by the guest at airports, with the relevant airline counters, or online via the airline's websites.
Last-minute delays and gate changes during flights are announced at airports and displayed on information boards. This information should be monitored directly by the guests.
Turdan Tura is not responsible for passengers who are not present at the designated airport at the times indicated by the airline’s rules for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who do not board the aircraft after completing check-in and boarding procedures on time. All costs related to obtaining new flight tickets for those who miss their flights and any necessary transfers in the destination area are the responsibility of the guests.
The general baggage allowance for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and destination. If there are domestic flights in the destination, this baggage weight may drop to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/fee rules are determined by airlines and are not the responsibility of Turdan Tura.
For guests wishing to upgrade their plane tickets with their miles (to business or first class); the upgrade process can be carried out based on the availability of the airline after the tickets have been issued (check the airline of your membership). No guarantee is provided for upgrades for each flight. Check whether the tickets in the program are upgradeable.
In some airlines, food, drink, and online check-in services may incur additional charges.
Other Matters
Turdan Tura will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellations that guests directly make by contacting the hotel. In such a case, the cancellation conditions of Turdan Tura will apply.
If the names of the hotels are provided without being specified in the tour program and/or if options are offered for the same destination, the guest will be informed by Turdan Tura 48 hours before the travel date.
During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located further than the specified locations or distances. In such cases, Turdan Tura will inform 15 days before the travel date.
When registering for the purchased tour, the guest must accurately enter/declare the name as stated in the passport, date of birth, and passport number in the system. Plane tickets are issued based on this information. Penalty fees arising from erroneous information related to plane ticket cancellations or changes will be charged to the guests.
To be able to use your mobile phone abroad, it must be checked with the company its line belongs to before leaving Turkey whether your phone is enabled for international use.
The hotel check-in time is 15:00 and the check-out time is 12:00.
Requests related to the room (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) will be communicated by Turdan Tura to the hotel. Efforts will be made to provide the pre-booked rooms in accordance with the preferences of the guest according to the hotel’s availability. The fulfillment of these requests depends on the availability at the time of check-in and is not guaranteed by Turdan Tura.
Breakfasts offered at hotels may differ from a rich Turkish breakfast. Typically, they are served in a continental breakfast style with limited options consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee and may be served in a separate room allocated for groups.
In some cases, a double bed may be provided instead of a twin room. Most European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be joined if necessary.
Child and extra bed policies may vary among hotels, depending on the room types.
All extra beds and baby cots are provided at the request and subject to the hotel's availability and must be approved by the hotel.
The capacity for extra beds or baby cots in the room is a maximum of 1 (one).
In rooms for three, there is an application for an extra bed; the bed allocated for the 3rd person in these types of rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds typically consist of unfolding and folding beds and coach beds. Our guests hereby declare their acceptance of the possibility of congestion in the rooms due to additional beds added to standard rooms and/or child bookings.
If the declared number of children staying in the reservation alongside adults and their ages is incorrectly stated by our guests in hotel reservations, the relevant hotels may charge additional fees. In such cases, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the erroneous declaration. The hotel may request identification for age verification for children.
In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, a separate bed for the child may not be available. Child prices are valid only if the child is accompanied by two adults. Child discounts apply for the eligible age group for “one child” who stays next to two adults.
Daily currency exchange rates are reflected in the TRY prices. The rates at the time of payment are valid. Any additional requests or extra services you receive at the hotel (minibar, ironing, etc.) are subject to extra charges by the hotel. These expenses are not included in the purchase price and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.
Some countries may have different applications regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. Any such city, tourism, or other taxes currently being applied will be collected from the guest by the hotel during entry or exit.
Travel distances provided in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may extend due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the visited country, roadworks, and other conditions.
Turdan Tura can modify the order of the cities in the program or the main airline to be flown if deemed necessary in mandatory cases, without disrupting the content of the program.
The personal belongings (bags, suitcases, passports/IDs) of participants in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Turdan Tura is not responsible for items that are forgotten/lost/stolen. The expenses incurred in the event of finding forgotten items and their delivery to the country and/or person are the responsibility of the item owner.
Participants in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies, as well as any related medications and reports if they have health issues.
For any potential additional expenses, the hotel may request a photo ID/passport and a credit card or cash deposit upon check-in, which will be returned upon check-out. This deposit return process is between the hotel and the guest, and Turdan Tura will not interfere with it.
Visa and Passport
There is no visa requirement for Turkish citizens.
Guests must have their passports valid for at least 6 months from the travel end date.
At customs crossings/border gates, at least 2 blank pages are required in your passport for the entrance-exit stamp to be affixed to your passport.
Exemption from visas for entry into the countries on this tour does not mean that entry/exit from the country is granted, as the border police have the authority to deny entry/exit to you, Turdan Tura is not responsible for this situation, and the responsibility lies with the passenger.
Guests who are not Turkish citizens or who have dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using the other country's passport are required to inquire personally at the relevant consulates about the visa procedures applied by the country they will be traveling to; otherwise, Turdan Tura will not be responsible for the consequences that arise.
To avoid issues with the customs police at the border gate of the visited country due to torn, worn, wet, or similarly damaged passports; it is necessary to renew the passports. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the passenger.
Children under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one of their parents should be aware of the possibility of being asked for a document showing the joint consent of their parents during country entry/exit. It is advisable for both the under-18 guests and their parents to pay attention to this matter.
